    Steve McCurry’s photos defines the very pinnacle of photographic art. Whether it is National Geographic’s most famous picture ever, “the Afghan Girl” or the poignant image of subject revisited after a generation, or the myriad images of India and Africa — they are all penetrating and incisive. Mr. McCurry has established a bar so high, that the rest of us can only admire and envy, or attempt to match and fall short.
