The idea of “special effects” often sends a cold shiver down my spine, it usually smacks of poor images treated in some way to try to make them more interesting. Rest assured though these tutorials are not that kind of special effects. They include perspective control, HDR, infra-red and Lomo tutorials all of which give you technical and creative opportunities that are not just about recovering rubbish pictures. That sounds a bit harsh on some “special effects” but there you go, it is a Monday morning so I have a right to be a bit harsh!
